Buckle up for a series of tasks meticulously crafted by Google Developers. These challenges will test your expertise in the latest front-end technologies and best practices.

Join the Front-End category and show us what you’ve got!

Who can compete?

This competition is open to developers of all levels!  Whether you’re a seasoned front-end pro or just starting your coding journey, we encourage you to participate.

However, the challenges will require knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.  These are the primary technologies used in the tasks set by Google Developers.

So, if you’re comfortable with these languages and frameworks, or are eager to learn them, then this is the perfect opportunity to test your skills and grow as a developer.

What to expect in the contest?

This competition, designed by Google Developers, prioritizes real-world skills and problem-solving over dry facts.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Focus on Practical Application: The challenges will go beyond syntax memorization. They’ll test your ability to apply your knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS to build dynamic and user-friendly web experiences.
  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Get ready to tackle creative coding challenges that will push your problem-solving skills.

A Glimpse into Google’s Approach: These challenges are crafted by Google Developers, giving you a unique opportunity to experience the kind of problems tackled at Google. It’s a chance to see if your skills align with their real-world development needs.

What software do you need to compete?

While there’s no specific software requirement to compete, having a good code editor and a development environment will be highly beneficial.

You’ll be able to leverage the power of the Google Search engine during the rounds to find relevant information and code snippets. Remember, you can only use publicly available resources published before the active round begins. This means no collaboration with others online or offline for help with the challenges.

The focus is on your individual problem-solving skills and ability to apply your knowledge within the competition environment.
